XNS 
Definition
In computer networking, XNS means Xerox Network Systems.
It is a protocol suite that was originally designed by Palo Alto Research Center - PARC. It is/was implemented and used by many computer networking companies (3Com, Banyan, Novell, UB Networks etc.) as their primary transport protocol.
